Oni Mask – war

Hi everyone. I’m P1lotz and I am a Danish 3D artist and have been working with Blender 3D since 2019.
This project has been one of my biggest projects yet. The idea of the mask is inspired by the oni masks from Japanese culture.
A huge thanks to War for helping me make this possible.
Fitting and painting
To make the mask fit perfectly make sure to measure your face first, and add about a cm extra into the sides, to make sure it’ll fit your face. The mask needs support as well, I found out that using tree support works the best.
There are two sizes of the mask. The large version is made for faces about 16 cm wide, while the small version is made for faces about 14 cm wide.
Sanding and painting the mask makes a fantastic finished product, but it’s up to you if you want to spend the extra time on the project.
